"As l booked the hotel before going to Gold Coast. And l went there ,l was allowed to change time when l could stay there.l can obtain good services, tidy and clean
.The position is convenient.I like it very much."
"As soon as you walk its old school wow... elegant and stylish, It may be a bit aged but i love old style hotels. For what is a stayed for was definitely worth the price. Pool to drink and be stress free at was great, the High Tea was yum, staff seem a little distracted in that area....the buffet breakfast catered to everyone and the staff were lovely in there. Oh no milk in the room for morning coffee?? but all in all it was a beautiful place. I will be back"
"A fabulous short stay for us . The room was lovely and clean , beds comfortable and spacious. We ordered in-room dining and the serving size ( particularly of the Club Sandwich ) was fantastic ! A big thankyou to James, who was exceptional in his job in this area !
This was our 2nd stay at the Royal Pines and we look forward to a future visit !"
"Accommodating family stay. Clean easy assessable stay. Would be nice to have a bigger games room and inside areas for children to play when cold and wet. More child friendly food and drink would be good for dinner. Pool area was lovely at night but slightly too dark maybe a few more tree lights around the pool would be good. Pool towels were available at reception and . Concierge was lovely and helpful but parking is limited and a bit stressful."
"Dorsett Gold Coast boasts a prime location, just one street away from the large shopping centre Pacific Fair. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and it only takes a 10-minute walk to get to the beach. The hotel entrance is right at the Tram Station. The room facilities are quite good, featuring a small balcony that offers a view of the sea when opened. However, the shower water pressure is somewhat weak, and the floor gets a bit slippery when wet. Aside from these, I’d like to give a special shout-out to Carter at the front desk for making us feel right at home.
- Chinese Customers"
"Located in a quiet residential street yet 300m from cafes, restaurants and shops, Woodroffe is also 300m from light rail and numerous bus services. A perfect location
Modern, clean and designed for business or tourist stays. A laundry is available at Lobby level along with a cafe and guest microwave oven facilities.
Rooms are quiet and spacious. Staff are simply delightful.
View from room across yacht club to ocean."
"Perfect location for what I was visiting for. Very impressed with the size of the room. Lots of space, small kitchenette which I wasn't expecting. Very clean. Comfy bed. Construction across the road, but didn't bother me, no inconvenience. Reception attended until 10pm which was good for any information and I found it felt safe and secure."
"It was a last minute booking we made (secured the deal for the last available room at that price) and it was the best decision we made! We had to leave our airbnb due to room cleanliness concerns.
Really great central location and lovely room, with great amenities. We enjoyed the proximity to shops nearby. The room size was suitable for up to 4 pax, along with the provision of amenities such as body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The complimentary snacks and beverage packets provided in the room upon check-in were a great touch, and we even got a refill on the chips (they were a great hit with my friends) on our second day.
Thank you for providing a great and welcoming experience and I’ll be considering staying here should I visit Gold Coast again."
"The location is incredibly convenient, with a tram stop right at the entrance, making transportation a breeze. The room itself is quite spacious and comes with a balcony, offering pleasant views of the pool and even a glimpse of the coastline. The in-room fridge was a big plus, very handy for storing drinks or snacks. Service was also excellent; the room was cleaned daily, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. All in all, I was very satisfied."

Great
PPrasadThis hotel is spectacular!!! Not enough words can express how beautiful it is. Every staff member made you individually feel welcomed and genuinely looked after. Each person always had a smile and genuinely wanted to help. For example Gina and Alex in the breakfast restaurant Critique were extremely helpful and at your service. Rahul at reception was helpful and explained all the hotel facilities. The maintenance manager was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The lagoon area made you feel as if you were in Bali, Phuket etc. To say it is spectacular is an understatement. For my entire stay, each staff member made my birthday extremely special, memorable and second to none ever experienced before. Thank you all the staff at JW.
AAMTKThe location is very good, there is a tram station just down stairs.
Everything was hygienic and the Bathtub with a massage function can let us enjoy the bath and relax.
It was surprising with a clothes dryer so we washed clothes and dried them out.
The housekeeper did housekeeping every day without being asked.
We enjoyed the stay so much
Definitely recommend this apartment to everyone.
GGuest UserThere was a large parking lot to park cars. The check-in was smooth and quick. Our room was located on 3rd floor and there was no lift...The room was spacious and clean and was facing golf course with a pond. We had a dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was good and the price was reasonable. It was raining on the next day and as there was no shelter from the room to the reception, we were a bit wet when walking to the reception for check-out. Overall, good!
GGuest UserThere was indeed a bit of a problem with the cleanliness of the rooms and the pool area not being very luxurious - as well as I was surprised by the announcement of noisy construction right next door. However, mine was large and bright (although not the cleanest), the facilities were good and I enjoyed my stay there
CChih minWe stayed in the hotel for three days(7/7-7/10). On the first day, no one came to clean the room. We thought we needed to notify the service counter to arrange cleaning. On the second day, we used the ”cleaning notification” button on the phone in the morning, but no one came to clean the next day. On the third day, we reported it to the service counter in the morning, and they said they would arrange for a cleaning staff. As a result, when we returned to the room on the third night, we found that it was still not cleaned (this was the first time we were deceived). So we called the service counter again, hoping that at least they could change the bath towels for us to use. The service counter staff replied that they would ask someone to bring us clean bath towels, but they did not keep their promise in the end. We were deceived again.
GGuest UserPros
* Location (Central to every where)
* Great view (Riverview from 8th floor was excellent)
Cons
* Run-down room (room seems old and not maintained well. Even had a cockroach)
* Interrupted sleeps (windows are thin and not blocking street noise. Kept on waking up to police and fire brigade sirens)
GGuest UserThe location is wonderful .. short walk to surfers paradise and skypoint is just right next door. Easy to get from airport as the tram stop is just right next to skypoint. Many cafe and restaurant choices. Did not use the pool or gym. Noise can be heard from room as the walls are thin. Easy check in .. staff did not advise much on the resort facilities and we figure out the wifi password base on the sticker on the kitchen wall. Our rooms balcony look out into the pool which is nice.
GGabchoi We were here for a family trip and I was happy to choose this hotel and it is closed to sanctuary cove and also it has good staff that help me change my room when I got trouble with one of the curtain blind,
We stay four nights and the place was clean.
We can cook inside and also it is walkable to Cole’s supermarket and it has carpark space for free too
GGuest UserThe check in was fine, the car parking was easy enough, but the room was not in good shape. The room was asthough it had experienced 20 years of schoolines and nothing had been attended to. There was paint peeling off, chips, cracks, unclean carpet, unkept room items. The clock was flashing random time, I didn't check to see if the TV was working, but it didn't mater, I wasn't staying in the room to watch it.
The beds were very clean though, which I was relieved to see.
The breakfast in the dining room was very nice, that was the saving grace.
Won't be staying at this mantra again :(
GGuest UserHad to wait while one of our 2 rooms was made up but the room that was supposed to have been made up had only had the beds done. Toothpaste splattered across the bathroom mirror, toilet unscrubbed, no face washers, hand towel or bath mat though there were fresh towels on the beds.
The kitchen hadn't been done as there was no dish cloth or liquid for cleaning only 2 tea cups, no mugs and the fridge contained half eaten yoghurt, a full bag of grapes and a 1/4 of rotten watermelon its juices all crusted under it.
The well frosted freezer contained a partially eaten iceblock frosted into the freezer, obviously it had been there long enough to be frosted to it.
The kitchen had not been stocked with tea coffee sugar or most importantly for me milk (being a little fussy I bring my own tea and coffee)
I have doubts about if it was vaccumed due to the pills as several other items on the carpet. I mention the pills as we had young children with us.
The aircon remote had no batteries or back to it but we just swopped out the batteries for the T.V. remote
The cleaner sent to remedy this politely made it clear that she wasn't the one who'd made up the room. She cleaned the mirror restocked the face washers, hand towel and bath mat, removed the food from the fridge and freezer and upon request gave me a cloth for me to scrub off the crusted watermelon juice.
The beds were clean (I checked) with fresh sheets and comfortable. They were clear that they expected courtesy to others by not making alot of noise late at night or slamming doors. The pool area could have been cleaned. I don't know where the dirt came from but it was there when we arrived and still there when we left. The lobby chairs I wouldn't sit in, needed a good scrub with soap and water.
They unlocked the freezer at the Cafe late one night for us to buy ice cream. The staff were helpful and polite. The kids loved playing ping pong and swimming.
